The Eastern Gateway to Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park's Eastern Gateway has remained the travel route for travelers for many generations. Cody is the center seat of the American Old West and remains untouched by urban development so the spirit of freedom, honesty and independence prevail. This is the original back bone of fundamental American ideals. Experience the Old West in a way that only Cody can present itself to the public. Galleries of Western Art, authentic western craftsmanship dominate the commercial landscape. The people reflect a genuine peace and friendliness that represents the lifestyle that they live here. Cowboys, ranchers, and hunters find a livelihood here that is a must see experience.
Half way between Cody and the Eastern Gateway to Yellowstone Green Creek Lodge is some 22 miles due west out of Cody on Highway 14, 16, 20. Turn left on Green Creek Road at the Red Barn, which is literally the last chance for gas when traveling to Yellowstone Park. Head south 0.5 miles to the stone pillars on the right side of the road marking the entrance to Green Creek Lodge.
